| This program clarifies the concepts of generally accepted auditing standards as well as procedures and reports used in audit, review, and compilation engagements. Topics covered include planning, risk assessment, internal control, audit evidence, reporting issues, information technology systems, statistical sampling, PCAOB standards, and related topics. Mnemonics are included to help candidates remember concepts during exam situations. The standard audit report and its variations are emphasized. This presentation covers answers to 90 multiple choice questions and 2 simulations. Candidates should realize that these questions do not follow the AICPA's content specification outline (CSO) exactly. Bob Monette selected the questions to allow candidates to self-evaluate whether they are ready for the AUD exam section, rather than to provide a practice exam experience. Approximate time is 4:20. |
